The Darkwa Night

R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Review

First off, nobody owned RB Orleans Darkwa (left) who led all scorers with 22 points. The only player going was JD's WR Ryan Grant (right) who put together a decent night in defeat for Tulane in its first bowl game ever, but didn't score. Grant caught seven passes for 113 yards.
Seven minutes before kickoff, University of Louisiana Lafayette QB Terrance Broadway was dropped (see post below) because he was listed as doubtful for the game and had been out with a broken arm. Broadway played but, wasn't effective and eventually was injured and came out.

(JD) WR Grant, Tulane 5 points
