Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl Review
Utah jumped out early and kept the haymakers coming. The Utes were pathetically under-valued by us while Colorado State was just pathetic.
Utah QB Travis Wilson (no team) passed for 151 and a score, but added nearly 100 on the ground with count 'em, three TDs. Our dummy team Herbie, scored big with RB Devontae Booker with 15 points.
The Rams, well, the Rams. There was the blood-red color on the helmets and number outlines that CSU added for no good reason, other than to match the color of the eventual box score.
QB Garret Grayson scored the only touchdown on a reception, which was about their only highlight of the day, although WR Rashard Higgins was solid but scoreless.
(JD) QB Grayson, Colorado St. 11 points
(CHIP ) WR Higgins, Colorado St. 5 points
(CHIP) RB Hart, Colorado St. 1 point
(HERBIE) RB Booker, Utah 15 points
Courtesy of the AP: Colorado State (10-3) played a ranked team for the first time this season -- it has lost its last 16 games against teams in the Top 25.
