Dual threat magician Greg Ward, Jr. and Houston scored a signature win over turnover-plagued Florida State. Ward passed for 238 and a score while running for 67 and 2 touchdowns.
FSU RB Dalvin Cook was held to 33 yards on 18 carries. Not for nothing as the old folks say, it jarring to see an American Athletic Conference squad blast the national champs of two seasons ago.
