Leonard Fournette shredded Texas Tech and posted the second-best all-time fantasy bowl performance with 42 points. He also tied the all-time bowl record with his five-pack of TDs.
It also helped that most Texas Tech defenders made business decisions with some of the worst tackle attempts in recorded history. Big 12 defense. Yay.
Texas Tech's Patrick Mahomes tried to keep the undermanned Red Raiders relevant with 370 and 4 touchdowns in the most unimpressive 20-point performances we've seen. He also scored a rare negative point with -28 rushing yards thanks to his offensive line.
