Colorado State gets Vandal-ized

Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Review
Idaho 61, Colorado State 50

It wasn't that close. Idaho, possible the first-ever FBS school which is opting to move down to FCS, unleashed a beat-down on (black &) blue turf.

Great quote from the QB:  "We belong in FBS -- period!" Linehan said in a radio interview with ESPN. "That's what I believe. That's what everyone believes. We know we can compete. We belong here. No matter what anyone thinks, even our tone-deaf president. Maybe he doesn't think we belong here, but I think we belong here."

Even the Idaho coach made a postgame pitch to the Mountain West (after going 2-0 vs. them this year). Sadly none of us saw this coming and 0 percent of us had an ownership stake in the Vandals.

Down 41-14 in the fourth quarter the Rams scored garbage time points to make the score less of an embarrassment. But the good news is, the points were aplenty. Receiver Michael Gallup, was the only player owned this game (somehow). Both QBs in this one accounted for 5 touchdowns apiece. Ugh.

(Patrick) WR Gallup, CSU 23 points
UNOWNED QB Stevens, CSU 26 points
UNOWNED QB Linehan, Idaho 27 points
