College Football Playoff Quarterfinals:
Penn State 31, Boise State 14
First of all a moment of silence for the Fiesta Bowl - which should be permanently branded with Tostitos as a sponsor, as far as I'm concerned - and sorry "Vrbo" that's a hill I'm ready to die on.
Penn State bullied the perky and cute Broncos all night in a simple case of what separates the wheat from the chafe. The Nittany Lions also took advantage of four turnovers and showed why an autopsy on the playoff seeding system needs to be done once the smoke clears from the tourney.
Kaytron Allen and Nicholas Singleton (Team Patrick) combined for more than 200 yards for PSU while Boise's Ahston Jeanty (Team David) was shut down all night but was force-fed to the 100-yard mark.
