Miami 24, Ohio State 14
The game wasn't special with big numbers - but the result was.
Ding-Dong the Scarlet and Grey witch is dead - thanks in part to some great coaching by Matt Patricia on the defensive side.
The defending champion Buckeyes fell behind 14-0 and despite a second-half rally, could not dig out of the hole.
Miami was led by RB Mark Fletcher, Jr. (Team Chip) with 115 total yards and a touchdown, but other than that, the 'Canes offensive numbers remained pretty modest.
The Ohio State side offered better numbers with WR Jeremiah Smith (Team Dave) the standout, posting 157 yards and a TD on seven catches.
