Quick Lane Bowl Review

In another of the "take a picture of the name, it will last longer" -bowls, Rutgers defended the B1G's honor by beating North Carolina 40-21 in the inaugural bowl game at Ford Field.

Nobody had Rutgers freshman running back Josh Hicks who won MVP honors with 202 yards and a TD.

But the fantasy standout here was North Carolina QB Marquise Williams (Team Patrick) with 182 yards and a score through the air and more importantly, another 51 yards and TD on the ground.

Another story of note, Lions first-round pick Eric Ebron could be seen imparting advice to his Tar Heel brothers on the sideline of how to pull the wool over scouts' eyes and become a fraudulent first-round pick who steals money every two weeks.

Team Patrick showed that it's fantasy squad's blood is red just like you and I, came up up underwhelming with WR Leonte (Don't call him Rod) Caroo, who had a quiet 43 yards on two catches. Nobody owned Rutgers QB Gary Nova and nobody missed a thing.
