LA Gear

Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl Review

LA Tech pulled away late from a pathetic Illinois squad thanks to RB Kenneth Dixon's all-purpose flavor.

Dixon who was about the only watchable player on the field, scored on an 80-yard catch and run with a 1-yard scoring run, finishing with more than 140 combined yards plus his two trips into the end zone.

A couple other fantasy owned players did well, something.
Cmdr. Cody.

Bulldogs' QB Cody Sokol crept near double figures as the one-time former Iowa Hawkeye finished with 240 yards and a score.

WR Trent Taylor wasn't so lucky with only two catches and 20 yards.

It was not exactly quality television with Illinois going 3 of 15 on third downs and LA Tech converting 3 of 13.
